The Chicago Bears' acquisition of defensive tackle Brian Price from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers gives the Monsters of the Midway a bit more depth up front. And Windy City Gridiron likes that:
He's listed at 6'1" (and 303 pounds), and seeing as how the Bucs run a similar defense to the Bears the on field transition should be a smooth one.
Bucs Nation, however, is a bit more skeptical about Mark Dominik's decision-making:
Maybe Dominik knows something none of us do. But with his profuse praise in 2010 and 2011 for Price this is a sudden change. I find it very difficult to get onboard with this, especially after calling Price a team leader (before and after he was sent home by Raheem Morris).

Original Story The Tampa Bay Buccaneers appear to have orchestrated a trade with the Chicago Bears for the services of defensive tackle Brian Price.
The trade was
initially reported by Adam Schefter of ESPN. Schefter reported that the Bears parted with a late-round draft pick for Price. Schefter followed up later, saying that Price was involved in an altercation at training camp with Tampa Bay's first-round draft pick, safety Mark Barron, so the trade may be a form of damage control by the Bucs.
Price also apparently has a hamstring problem, so the Bucs are likely not too sorry to part with him in light of all of this information.
The Buccaneers selected Price in the second round of the 2010 NFL draft. In his two years in the league, he has 27 tackles and three sacks.
