The Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore on Monday announced result of Class 9, Annual Examination, 2011, according to which the overall pass percentage remained 31.83 percent.
Besides BISE Lahore, the result was also announced by the other examination boards of the province.
According to BISE Lahore s result gazette, 236,964 candidates appeared in the exam out of which 75,426 passed it. A total of 122,703 candidates appeared in Science Group out of which 50,487 passed with 41.15 overall pass percentage in the group.
As many as 46,849 female candidates appeared in this group and of them 25,232 remained successful.
Similarly, 114,261 candidates appeared in the humanities group out of which 24,939 passed.
As many as 58,259 female candidates appeared in this group and of them 18,262 remained successful.
