PEC is an independent and self-controlled body. It was established by government of the Punjab in 2005 and its main purpose is to conduct examination for 5th and 8th classes. PEC is an authoritative body and responsible for conducting exams to determine students learning achievement at different schools and boards in province of Punjab.
PEC develops tests, gets them printed for districts. The districts administer mark the test and PEC prepares results for each district. Punjab Examination Commission issues roll numbers and sends to the districts for verification. After verification and changes made by the districts PEC issues final Roll Number Slips to each district and they further delivered to schools and private candidates.
The date for declaration of 5th class result 2013 has not been announced yet. PEC usually announces 5th class result in the end of March but it is expected that result of 5th class of Bahawalpur Board would be announced on March 31, 2013 and exams would start from February 01, 2013.
