The BISE Malakand came into being in 2003 as a result of bifurcation of BISE under the provision of NWFP Ordinance/Act 1990. The main objective of Malakand Board is to control, organize and regulate educational system in educational institutions of government along with private sector to promote education. The exams normally start in the month of March and end in April while BISE Malakand result shows the higher standard of education in schools and colleges of its locality. Malakand Board reults of matriculation classes generally declared in the month of July every year and results for intermediate classes are declared in the start of September or last of August every year.
