The existence of Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (FBISE) Islamabad was taken placed under the provision of FBISE ACT 1975. Islamabad board is a government body of the Ministry of Professional and Technical Training. BISE Islamabad is responsible for administrative and educational activities among schools and colleges come under its jurisdiction.
