The establishment of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Dera Ismail Khan (BISE DI Khan) has been taken place as result of BISE NWFP (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) act. DI Khan Board takes examinations of matriculation and intermediate classes of government and private students belonging to its locality. Dera Ismail Khan Board carried out matriculation exams in the month of March and intermediate exams begin in the month of April. BISE DI Khan result of matriculation is generally declared in the month of July and August. DI Khan Board result for intermediate class is declared in the month of September. DI Khan Board is also responsible for fair and transparent examination system and thousands of candidates appear for matriculation and inter exams through this educational board.
